
Looking to make a difference in the life of an international student? Sign up as a homestay host and provide a safe and welcoming home away from home. As a homestay host, you will have the opportunity to learn about new cultures, make lifelong connections and receive fortnightly payments to cover expenses. The BROWNS team will provide ongoing support and resources to help you succeed as a homestay host.
Here's how to join:
1. Location Check: To ensure easy access to our campuses, we look for homes located within a 50-minute commute (Brisbane/Gold Coast) or 1 hour 15 minutes (Melbourne). You can check travel times using the links below:
- Brisbane Campus: Level 8, 102 Adelaide St, Brisbane: http://translink.com.au
- Gold Coast Campus: 5 Hicks Street, Southport: http://translink.com.au
- Melbourne Campus: Level 3, 30 Church Lane, Melbourne: https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/journey
2. Take a moment to review our Homestay Terms and Conditions.
3. Let's get started. Complete the application process below:
- Please complete the Online Homestay Application Form or the PDF Homestay Application Form .
- Blue Card Application Form (QLD) or Working with Children Check (VIC) .

5. Our Homestay Accommodation team, will contact you to arrange an inspection. If you satisfy our Homestay Family criteria, we will issue you with a letter of confirmation.
